BROEKER, TRESSIE M., 70, of Crestwood, KY, passed away Friday, October 8, 2010 at Norton Hospital.
She was born January 2, 1940 in Fisherville, KY. She was a member of Ballardsville Baptist Church and a longtime employee for the Goshen Board of Education.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Sid Sherman Pike, Luke Jerome Pike; and two great-granddaughters.
She is survived by her loving companion, Frankie Hawkins; was the gracious and caring mother of her five children, Kathy Davenport (Michael) of Louisville, Tommy Branscum (Annette) of Tampa, FL, Rose Mary Wineinger (Rodney) of Salem, IN, Ross Milton Branscum (Joyce) of Eminence, KY, Curtis G. Branscum (Laura) of Lagrange, KY; sisters, Lydia Karr and Nellie Best of Shepherdsville, KY; brothers, Michael Pike of Louisville and Harlen (Corkey) Pike of Frankfort, KY; 11 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service is 10 a.m. Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 311 West Jefferson St., LaGrange, with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation is at the funeral home on Friday from 2-8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. Saturday.
