Velma Wood Staples, 91, wife of the late Willard Staples, passed away at Essex Nursing and Rehab Center on Monday June 4, 2012.
Mrs. Staples retired from Seagrams Distillery.
She was also preceded in death by parents, Jessie and Dora Wood, and three sisters and four brothers.
She is survived by daughter, Betty Grant, stepson Edward Staples, and brother Omas Wood. She is also survived by grandchildren Kim Bryant and Shawn Adkins and great-grandchildren, Tyler, Alicia, Miken, and Shawn as well as several nieces and nephews.
