CENTRAL CITY - Coates, Vera M., 91, died Friday, December 9, 2011 at Bowling Green Medical Center, Bowling Green, KY.
Born July 23 1920, she was a member of First Baptist Church in Central City.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Eugene Coates; and her son, Dan Coates.
She is survived by her son, John Thomas Coates, Louisville; daughter-in-law, Vicky Coates, Bowling Green; and two grandchildren, Kelsey Coates and Lindsey Coates, Bowling Green.
Funeral service: 1 p.m. Monday at Tucker Funeral Home, Central City, with Rev. Bob Lowery officiating. Visitation: after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Graveside service and burial will be held 1 p.m. EST Tuesday at Louisville Memorial Gardens West, Louisville.
