Verna Gaus

Verna M. (Gahafer) Gaus | Visit Guest Book GAUS, VERNA M. (GAHAFER), passed away Friday at her residence.

She was born in Louisville, KY to August and Alma (Bossle) Gahafer.

Verna was a retired court clerk for the State of Kentucky and was a member of St Paul's Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Maurice and Danny; and sisters, Libby and Norma.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Kenneth Gaus; her children, Paula Curl (Neil), Paul "Sam" Gaus (Melinda), Patrick M. Gaus (Donna), Toni Gaus, Kenny Joe Gaus (Joni), Terri Gaus, and Mark Gaus; 19 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; brothers, David, Raymond and Glen Gahafer, and a sister, Cassie (Reif) Smith.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 6901 Dixie Hwy. with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be noon - 9 p.m. Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy.
