Nelson, Verneice Dorothy (Kanzler),95, of Louisville, passed away Wednesda,y September 16, 2015 at her home.Verneice was born July 21, 1920 to the late George & Edna Kanzler.She is member of Peace Lutheran Church.She is also preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Norman A. Nelson; a son, James R. Nelson; a sister, Elois Miller; brothers, Sylvester, Kenneth and Gilbert Kanzler.Survivors include her children, Norma Jean Gruen, Larry Nelson and Linda Bandy; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
