FLEMING, VERNON L., 90, husband of Imogene Lanham Fleming, died March 3, 2011 at Regency Health and Rehabilitation.

Born in Mayfield, KY on September 11, 1920, he was the son of the late Clifton and Cora Turner Fleming. Mr. Fleming was a charter member of Valley Station Baptist Church and charter member of Sun Valley Golf Course. He had been a computer analyst for American Standard and later for Naval Ordnance. Mr. Fleming was a World War II veteran having served in the Army Air Corps. He was an avid golfer and stamp collector.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Linda Ann (Kenny) Fleming Bratcher; son, James V. (Mae) Fleming; and grandson, David James Fleming.

Graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Monday in Louisville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 1-4 p.m. Sunday at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.

Memorials are suggested to the National Parkinson's Foundation.
