MEIMAN, VINCENT, 90, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2010.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran, a former electrician with Brown & Williamson, a member of American Legion Highland Post 201, IBEW Post 369 and St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
Vincent was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Meiman; and mother, Agnes Kleinhentz; brothers, Ed, Ray and Bill Meiman; and sister, Thelma Young.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Lane Ressler Meiman; sons, Dominic A. Meiman, John Ressler (Hannah), Mike L. Ressler (Tami), Steve P. Meiman (Rhonda) and Jeff L. Meiman (Kristen); daughter, Jennifer M. Pedigo (Doug) and Julie A. Meiman; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
His funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at St. James Catholic Church, 1826 Edenside Ave., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to Klondike Manor Resident Fund, Alzheimer's Association or Hosparus of Louisville.
