Viola Andrew

ANDREW, VIOLA I., 83, of Cold Springs, KY, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2007, at her residence. She was the former, Viola Vander Werken, a native of Schenectady, NY and lived in Louisville for the last 39 years. She was a member and active participate of Hurstbourne Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, PTA homeroom mother, avid U of L fan, devoted wife of 63 years to Jack, a mother and a grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Jack Holmes Andrew; two daughters, Debra Thiel (David) and Donna Hester (Rob); four grandchildren, David and Matthew Thiel; Rachel and Chris Hester; and two great-grandchildren. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at Hurstbourne Christian Church, 601 Nottingham Parkway, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens-East. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Thursday at Ratterman's, 3711 Lexington Road. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hurstbourne Christian Church Memorial Fund.
