STROUP, VIOLA GRACE, 93, died on March 28, 2013, with family by her side in LaGrange, KY.
She was born on December 6, 1919 in Buckley, IL, to Fred and Ethel Bothwell Stroup. Viola was a civilian employee of the Navy in San Diego, CA, for over 40 years. She Resided in La Jolla, CA, and was quite the golfer. She also co-wrote and edited diabetic cook books.
Viola was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald Lee Stroup of Louisville, KY, and Guy Scott Stroup of Buckley, IL. She is survived by her sister, Maxine Crews; six nieces; and one nephew.
