ALLISON, VIRGINIA "GIN," 89, of the Forum at Brookside, died Sunday June 12, 2011 at Jewish Hospital.
She was a retired bookkeeper for Farm Credit Bank, member of the Order of Eastern Star and Beechwood Baptist Church and past president of American Legion Auxilary-Iroquois Post.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howell K. Allison.
She is survivied by daughter, Nonnie Chism; grandchildren, Dr. Rebecca L. Chism, Ronald Stephen Chism and Cynthia L. Gosney; and great-grandchildren, Emily and Kate.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Pearson's, 149 Breckenridge Lane, with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation: 1-8 p.m. Wednesday.
