Carter, Virginia M.,

90, of Louisville, passed away Monday, January 19, 2015 at her home.

She was born in Central City, KY, in Muhlenberg County.

She was preceded in death by her husband's Paul D. Curtis and Freeman Carter; son, Kenneth D. Curtis; grandson, Donald P. Curtis; one sister; four brothers.

Survivors include her children, June Witt, Paul D. Curtis (Judith), Charles A. "Butch" Curtis (Leigh); daughter-in-law, Pat Curtis; sister, Ruthie Robinson; brothers, Paul Carter and Jerry Carter; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be Thursday at 12:30 p.m. at Arch L Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Okolona. Burial Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is Wednesday 2-8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. until service time.

Memorial contribution can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
