TAYLOR, VIRGINIA B., 86, of South Louisville, peacefully passed from this life on Thursday, July 28, 2011 at Signature South Health Care.
She was the former Virginia Barton, a retired employee of South Central Bell, and a member of Carlisle Avenue Baptist Church. Virginia was preceded in death by her daughter, Dianne O'Banion; a sister, Norma Owens; and a brother, Bill Barton.
She is survived by her sons, Ronald (Lois) and Gary Taylor (Kay); grandchildren, Melissa Hendricks (Tim), Stephen Taylor (Jennifer), Brian O'Banion (Cyndi), Michael Taylor (Suzanne), Chris Taylor and Nick Taylor; and eight great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Mrs. Taylor's life will be held at noon Monday at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd., with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Sunday.
