CHERRY, VIVIAN NAY, 90, returned to Spirit on Saturday, May 31, 2014.
Born in LaGrange, KY, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Richard "Dick" P. Cherry.
She is survived by her sister, Jean Nay Bell; daughter, Elaine Wood (Bruce); sister-in-law, Elizabeth Swindler (Herb); many nieces and nephews; and dear friends Nancy Barrett, Marcia Jones and Mary and Jesse Sipes.
Vivian was a member of Unity of East Louisville, where she was the beloved "Cookie Lady." (She had also been a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church and Shively Baptist Church.) Burial was private. A Life Celebration Service will be held at a later date.
