Rice, Vivian Marguerite View/Sign Guest Book RICE, VIVIAN MARGUERITE, 85, of Louisville, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2008 at her residence. She was a retired secretary for Western High School, a Kentucky Colonel, a World War II Army veteran (WAC), a member and Sunday school teacher at Metropolitan Baptist Church and Beth Haven Baptist Church, a member at Carlisle Baptist Church and her senior citizen group, and Child Evangelism director for the state of Kentucky. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Gilbert Lee Rice Sr; daughters, Debbie A. Rice Green (Les) and Wanda Darlene Rice Corbin (Steve); son, Gilbert Lee Rice Jr. (Donna); sister, Martha W. Ferguson; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Her funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at J.B. Ratterman & Sons-Southwest, 4832 Cane Run Road, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Wednesday.
