Wallace Bruce

Bruce, Wallace W. View/Sign Guest Book BRUCE, WALLACE W., 80, of Louisville, passed away Monday, January 19, 2009. He was born May 20, 1928 in Horse Cave, KY. He worked for Armour Creamery, Standard Foods and Eagle Express. He was a retiree of Teamsters Local 89 and was a member of the Suburban Lodge 740. He was preceded in death by his parents, Goff and Grace Bruce; brothers, Glenn, Bill and Randall Bruce; sister, Evelyn "Sis" Peterson; and son, Mark S. Bruce. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Doylene (Myatt) Bruce; sons, Kenneth W. Bruce (Barbara) and Joe Bruce; grandchildren, Cheryl, Angela (Bo) and Stephanie; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Sue Sirles; brothers, Gorden and Royce Bruce (Earline); and daughter-in-law, Diane Bruce. He is also survived by numerous family and friends. His funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday at J. E. Ratterman & Son, 7336 Southside Dr., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens-West.
