LUKEAS, WANDA LEE, 68, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2011.
She was a retired secretary for E & H Electric, an employee of Johnson Controls, and a member of New Salem Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Roma and Mary Blanton; brothers, James, Charles, Paul and Gerald Blanton; and a sister, Mary Frances Sharp.
Survivors include her son, Darren Lukeas (Missy); three grandchildren, Eric, Alex, and Emily; a sister, Martha Brooks; brothers, Kenneth (Chris), Robert (Sheryl), Larry (Karen), David, and Ronnie (Kathy) Blanton; 31 nieces and nephews; 45 ½ great-nieces and nephews; four great-great nieces and great-great nephews; and dear friends, Sharon Elias (Jim) and Noma Ashworth (Chuck).
Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, followed by burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday.
