Dennis, Wavel,

85, of Mt. Washington, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Baptist Health.

She was the former Wavel Glass, a homemaker, and an avid gardener.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Frank Dennis.

Wavel is survived by two daughters, Sue Dossey (Randy) and Linda Suratt (James); grandsons, Bryan Suratt, David Dennis, Wayne (Michelle) Dossey, and Shannon Dossey; granddaughter, Monica Walker (Stewart); great-grandchildren, Lacey Darnell (Dylan), Shelby Cross (Josh), Wavel Sue Pugsley (Brydon), Jonathan Dennis, Cameron Dossey, Chaeli Dossey, Aaron Dossey and Daniel Walker; and great-great grandchildren, Aubrey and Nicholas Pugsley, Jacob Walker; two sisters, Mabel Nall and Pat Logan (Ronnie); and a brother, Earl Glass (Pat).

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday.
