Brooks, Wayne Ford View/Sign Guest Book BROOKS, WAYNE FORD, 70, of Louisville, passed away Friday, February 8, 2008, at Kindred Hospital. He worked, for 29 years, at Louisville Tin & Stove Company and was a member of Riverside Pentecostal Church. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Belinda Mercer. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Treva Newman; son, David Brooks (Carol); daughter, Kim Pollard; four grandchildren, Natisha Neff, Sarah Mercer, Phillip and Caleb Pollard; brothers, Acie, Ray, Willie, David and Reed; and sisters, Bonnie, Nellie, Sylvia, and Deborah. His funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 2-9 p.m. on Sunday, noon -9 p.m. on Monday and after 9 a.m. on Tuesday. Published in The Courier-Journal on 2/10/2008.
