Wendell Thomasson

Wendell E. Thomasson, 94, passed away on Monday April 5, 2021 at Baptist Health.  He was born to the late Earl and Ethel (Vance) Thomasson on October 3, 1926 in Hartford, Kentucky.  He is also preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Thomasson and second wife, Emma Jean Thomasson and a son, Steve Thomasson.

Wendell retired from General Electric, he was a member of Minors Lane Baptist Church, and of the Robinson Plumb Masonic Lodge # 266.  He loved to work on his farm, and travel.  He was an Army veteran, that served during WWII in Japan, and was very proud to be part of the Bluegrass Honor Flight with his brother, J. W.

He is survived by his son Roger Thomasson, siblings, Agnes Campbell, Maxine Haynes and J. W. Thomasson (Bobbie) along with several nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 12:00 at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway.   Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 7 at the funeral home.
