Willa Atkinson

Willa Dean Atkinson, 81, wife to the late Rufus Atkinson, passed away on Friday July 26, 2019 ,with her family by her side, at Norton Audubon Hospital.

She was born to the late Carlos and Vinnie (Riley) Pitcock in Monroe County, Kentucky on February 11, 1938.

She is survived by her children, James, Lavinia, Roger, and Tonya Denton.  She is also survived by her brother Marrs Pitcock along with 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 4:00 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway.   Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00 pm until time of service.
