William Amos

December 19, 1938 — January 26, 2013

William Randall "Randy" Amos, 74, husband of Linda Wheeler Amos, went home on January 26, 2013 at Baptist East Hospital. Born in Brunswick, Ga. December 19, 1938 he is the son of the late James B. & Arlettie Davis Amos of Jacksonville, Florida.
He was a member of Saint Mark Lutheran Church where he actively served and was a member of NARFE . He was a retired federal employee having a work history that included producing and directing for television stations at the U.S. Army Armor School at Fort Knox. He was also a longtime volunteer at the Arthur S. Kling Senior Center and member of the Air National Guard.
Besides his wife, Randy is survived by four children, Kirsten Amos Harper, William Jackson Amos (Jenny), Mark Wheeler and Jennifer Wheeler, three grandchildren, William Victor Nash Amos and Sarah & Hayley Wheeler, sister, Sandra Beebe (Curt), nephews, Roger & Daniel (Natasha) Beebe, and 2 great nephews, Nathaniel & Cedric Beebe.
He was a loving dad to his beautiful children and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
