ARMSTRONG, WILLIAM, 81, of Fairdale, KY, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2011.
He was a retired Operating Engineering Local 181 and an Army veteran during the Korean Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Wanda Goff.
He is survived by his wife, Beth; sons, Billy Dewain (Star) and Ralph Armstrong; daughters, Lynn Davis (Mike) and Susan Peak; sister, Mary Whittle (Joe); grandchildren, Kristee, Tiffany, Bryan, Kaycee, Rachel, Mickey and Logan; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 411 Fairdale Road, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Tuesday and after 10 a.m. Wednesday until time of service.
Memorial donations may be made to the donors favorite charity.
