William Ashby

Ashby, William T. "Kilroy",82, passed away January 15, 2015 at his home.He was a member of Ralph Avenue Baptist Church and the Owner & Operator of Alvin's Auto Service, he was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of Shively Masonic Lodge # 951.He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean (Pike) Ashby; parents, Anna Mae and Francis Ashby; and son, James T. Ashby; sister, Rosie Ashby.He is survived by his son, Jerry Ashby (Lana); sister, Mary Duvall; granddaughter, Lori Hollon (Junior); six great-grandchildren, Brandon, Savannah, Phylisha, Phillip, Vinnessa and Thomas.Funeral service will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens (West). Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
