William Bostic Sr

William Bruce Bostic, Sr., 82, born to the late William Grayson and Jane Mathies Bostic in Forest City, N.C. on July 18, 1930 passed away on January 3, 2013 at Norton Hospital.
He was preceded in death by son, William Bruce Bostic, Jr.
He retired in October 1991 from General Electric mostly working in Building 1. He was a trustee for the St. Stephens cemetery, an Air Force veteran and he loved to fish and bowl. He was also a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Forest City, N.C.
He was known to family as Bruce, but to his co-workers and friends as Bill or B.B.
Bruce is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Martha Blankenship Bostic and leaves to cherish his memory sons; Mark (Tammy), Tony (Missy), and Ralph (Lisa). He will also be missed by grandchildren; William Bostic -(Kristin), Brittany Billings (Andy), Melissa Brown (Chris), Wendi (fiancé Jeremy Sarson) and great grandchildren; Brandon Bostic and Sophia Anne Billings. He is also survived by sister Hazel Nanney, Union Mills, N.C., sister-in-law Robbie Bostic, Forest City, N. C. and 4 additional sisters-in-law and brothers-in law and many nieces and nephews in Louisville and North Carolina. A special thanks to sister-in-law Loretta Givans for all of her love and support.
