CANNON, WILLIAM "BILL," 83, brother, father, grandfather, and the best Paps his two little buddies could have ever had, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2011 at his home with his family by his side.
A Leitchfield native, Bill was born on March 28, 1928, He is known by many for his 63 years as a carpet layer and as a member of Highland Park Lodge # 865. Bill is preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Linnie Cannon.
Survivors include his son, Keith Cannon (Kathleen); grandchildren, Michele Street, Kalyn Lutes, and Josh Taggart; great grandchildren, Cameron Street, Carson Ashford, and Noah Taggart; brother, Coleman Cannon; and sister, Ruby Frazier.
Funeral service will be 11a.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be Monday, 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
