William Cook, jr

Cook Jr., William "Bill" COOK, WILLIAM "BILL" JR., 83, of Fairdale, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2007. He was a former employee of Peerless Manufacturers and an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Marjorie Cook; his sisters, Lucille Wingfield and Pauline Bailes; and several nieces and nephews, including Dillard Cook (Cathy), Dewey Cook (Janice) and Diana Bramer (Jerry). Funeral services will be at noon on Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from noon -8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hospice of Louisville. Published in The Courier-Journal on 1/23/2007.
