ELDER, WILLIAM EVERITT SR., 73, died Friday, June 29, 2012.
He was retired Refrig Tech for General Electric.
He was preceded in death by his father, Everitt Elder; brother, Wayne Elder; sister, Linda Seay; and father-in-law, Guy H. Geoghegan.
He is survived by his wife, Caroline "Carolyn" Geoghegan Elder; children, Luanne K Brockmeyer (Harvey), William E. Elder, Jr. (Carrie), Robert B. Elder, Steven W. Elder (Jamie), David H. Elder (Nikolas), Rebecca L. Elder (Kristina); mother, Margie Elder; brother, David Elder; mother-in-law, Mary Geoghegan of Oxford, FL; grandchildren; step grandchildren; great grandchildren; and step great grandchildren.
His funeral is 10 a.m. Monday at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation is 12-6 p.m. on Sunday.
