William Essig

ESSIG, WILLIAM E., 74, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2008, after a long battle with cancer. Born in Lexington, KY, he was the son of the late Elmer William and Elizabeth Jane Essig. He was of Henry Clay High School and graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1956. He is survived by his wife, Jane Kelly Essig; son, Michael Evan Essig; sister, Joan Essig Rouse, Lexington; nieces and nephew, Betty Ferree (John), Alexandra, VA, Cynthia Battista, Lexington, and Arthur B. Rouse III (Mary), Lexington; cousin, Margy Dillon Solon (Earl), Wilmette; and his many loved friends! Burial will be Saturday in Louisville Memorial Gardens (East).
