FERGUSON, BILL, 79, husband of Betty Ferguson, passed away Sunday September 18, 2011 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
Bill was born in Annetta, KY, the son of the late Elmer and Mae Higdon Ferguson. He retired after 44 years at Reynolds Metal and was a member of New Zion General Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by daughter, Becky Moore; one son, Billy Ferguson; three sisters, Ruth Ford, Nita Meredith and Tootsie Grant, and two brothers, Vernon and Harry Ferguson.
Besides his wife he is survived by one daughter, Theresa Saint (Kenneth); son, Eric Wayne Ferguson (Sherry); two sisters, Linda Parks and Vena DuVall; brother, Ray Ferguson; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A service celebrating Bill's life will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
