William "Chester" Higdon, 80, husband to Mary "Louise" Denny Higdon passed away at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital on Sunday October 18, 2015. He was born to the late Charles E. and Lenora E. Lush Higdon in Grayson County on May 29, 1935.
He was also preceded in death by siblings, Helen Grant, Mildred Grant, and Floyd Higdon.
Chester was a retired plumber, an Army Veteran, and a member of American Legion Post 220.
Besides his wife he is survived by their daughters, Deana Pate (Mark) and Gayla Pritchard (Allen) along with grandchildren, Shay Korfhage (Brian), Cassie O'Keefe (Matt Adams) sisters, Catherine Grant, Bernadette Chambers (Michael), Anna Rose Messenger (Mac), and brother Russell Higdon (Rudell).
