William Hinton

Hinton, William L. "Shady" HINTON, WILLIAM L. "SHADY," 85, of Louisville passed away Sunday April 22, 2007 at the Sts Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. He was a native of Springfield, KY., a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a retired truck driver for Middlewest Freightway, a private school bus driver for Jefferson Co. Schools, a member of Beechland Baptist Church, and Teamster Local #89. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Jenetta (Carey) Hinton ; two daughters, Terrie Lynne O'Bryant (Steve), and Janet Carey Riley (Dain); four grandchildren, Chad, Kelly, Matthew, and Tress; five great- grandchildren, Ellison, Jordan, Brayden, Nolan, Avery; four sisters, Corine Tudder, Oliva Montgomery, Helen Jones, and Mayola Hinton; two brothers, Frank, and Joe Hinton. Funeral services will be held noon Thursday at the Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be Wednesday 4 9 p.m. and after 10 a.m. Thursday.
