KNIGHT, WILLIAM E. "BILL," 84, passed away Friday May 30, 2014 at Rockford Health & Rehabilitation Center.
He was born in Russellville, KY to Herman Z. and "Ellie" (Odell) Knight. Bill was retired from General Electric with over 25 years service, a Korean War Army veteran and a member of Ralph Ave Baptist Church.
Bill was preceded in death by his Loving wife of 54 years, Mildred B. (Brown) Knight; his parents and five siblings.
Survivors include his daughter, Deborah K. "Debbie" Adams; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two stepsons, Larry Hardin and Joallen Hardin (Linda); brother, Robert "Bob" Knight and sister, Carmen Wooden.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
