William C. Matthis Share E-mail Visit Guest Book MATTHIS, WILLIAM C., passed away Sunday September 27, 2009 at Georgetown Manor.
He retired from Wayne Supply, was a member of the old St. Basil Catholic Church and has attended Our Lady of Mt. Carmel for the last five years, and was an Army World War II veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Doris LaVerne Matthis; a daughter, Sharon Jackson; a grandson, Spencer Jackson; a grand-daughter, Maggie-Jean Jackson; brothers, James and Joseph; and a sister, Katherine Littleton.
The funeral is 10 a.m. Wednesday at J. E. Ratterman & Son, 7336 Southside Dr., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at Ratterman's.
