William Powell

POWELL, WILLIAM EDGAR "EDDIE," 51, of Crestwood, passed away Friday, September 5, 2008, at Bedford Health Care. He owned his own excavation company. He was an honorary lifetime member of LaGrange Fire and Rescue Department and a Baptist by faith. He was preceded in death by his father, Edgar "Sonny" Powell Jr.; and brother, Teddy Powell. Survivors include his daughter, Alisa Penick (Anthony); grandchildren, Dalton and Dylan; mother, Joyce Powell; sister, Debbie Stamper; brothers, Freddie Powell (Sanci), Bobby Powell and Tommy Powell (Jennifer); and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Monday at Heady Radcliffe Funeral Home. Burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Sunday. Memorials to Hosparus or WHAS Crusade for Children
