Sipes, William S. View/Sign Guest Book Donate Now SIPES, WILLIAM S., 70 , was called home to Heaven Friday, June 13, 2008. He was a longtime member of Shively Christian Church. He was a retired former partner of Loudon Sheet Metal Inc. He was in the sheet metal trade for over 40 years. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to all. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Betty Sipes. He is survived by his wife, the former Martha Hubbard; two daughters, Celeste Carter (Wayne) and Dawn Hosch (David); a son, Steven Sipes (Lori); a sister, Donna Dunn (Larry); grandchildren, Ben Layman (Jennifer), Caitlin Carter, Kyla and Jesse Sipes; and a great- granddaughter, Ella Layman. Funeral services will be noon Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be Monday from noon-8 p.m. and from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the time of service. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
