92, of South Louisville passed away on Saturday August 16, 2014.
A native of Cave City, KY, he was a retired welder for the old American Air Filter, a member of Victory Memorial Baptist Church, and an Army veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife Lucille Gossett. He is survived by two sons, Dean (Connie) and David Sr. (Jane) Gossett; sisters, Bertha Hogan and Edith Hartman; a brother, Ray Gossett; 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildlren. The family would also like to thank, Dylan Payne, Rama McCubbins, and Connie Gossett for the excellent care given to their father.
Funeral services for Mr. Gossett will be held at noon Friday in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Interment will follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from noon to 8 pm on Thursday. Memorial gifts may be made to the
