BROWN, WILMA LEWIS, 88, of Louisville, passed away Thursday March 17, 2011 peacefully in her sleep at Arden Courts Nursing Home.
She was a former employee of Enro Shirt Co., Charlestown Ammunition Plant, Seagram's Distillery and had been a loving caregiver to several friends and family. She was a member of Iroquois Presbyterian Church, and she loved her church family.
Wilma was preceded in death by her loving husband, Howard (Brownie).
She is survived by her daughter, Judy Napier (Rod); her son Bob Brown (Judi Jones); a sister, Maeola Goff; grandchildren, Doug, Angie, Zack and Hannah Jo; great-grandchildren, Will, Josh and Jordan; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at the Meadowview Presbyterian Church, 2944 Breckinridge Lane, Louisville, on Saturday March 19, 2011 from 10:30 am to noon, with a memorial service to begin at noon at the church. A private burial has been arranged. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd.
The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to all the staff at Arden Courts which was her home the past five years.
