Roots, Winnie Knopp "Bea" View/Sign Guest Book ROOTS, WINNIE "BEA" KNOPP, 82, of Louisville passed away Thursday, October 16, 2008 at Regency Health Care Center. She was a member of St. Matthias and St. Helen Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Clarence "Slim" Roots; sons, Ted (Theresa) and Gary Roots (Teresa); brothers, Felix and Carroll Knopp; sister, Violet Bickett and six grandchildren. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd., with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Sunday and after 11 a.m. Monday.
