ROSS, ZELMA EARLINE (HAYES), 82, passed away Saturday February 9, 2013 at Summerfield Manor Nursing Home.
She was born in Butler County, KY, to Charlie and Ruby (Jones) Hayes. Zelma was a homemaker and a faithful member of Victory General Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 27 years, Thomas J. Ross Jr.; and husbands, Dewey Lindsey and Evert Woosley; two brothers; two sisters; and her stepmother, Janie Hayes.
Survivors include her children, Nellene Davis, Claudie Woosley (Sharon), Nancy Lawson, Dennis Ross (Linda) and Rita Brown (Jerry); and son-in-law, Rev. George M. Davis; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; a brother, Chalmer Hayes; and a sister, Betty Patterson.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be Monday 2-8 p.m.
