Raggard Jr., Reginald "June" View/Sign Guest Book RAGGARD, REGINALD "JUNE" JR., 81, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at Norton Audubon Hospital. June was a graduate of Valley High School, class of 1944. He was a retired mail carrier for the US Post Office and lifelong member of Beechland Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School for over 40 years. As an avid gardener, he was a member of the Lexington Farmer's Market. He had a passion for hunting and fishing. He was a loving husband, beloved father and adored grandfather and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, Belle and Reginald Raggard; and his sister, Doris. The survivors include his wife of 61 years, Evelyn Kessinger Raggard; five children, Nancy Jewell (Bob) of Little Rock, AR, Ed Raggard (Jackie), Diane Wright, DMD (Charles, MD) of Tampa FL, Mark Raggard (Cathy) and Rob Raggard (Cindy); a brother, Donald Raggard; a sister, Shirley Leep; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Beechland Baptist Church, 4613 Greenwood Road. Private burial will take place Monday at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation hours are 12-8 p.m. Saturday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Beechland Baptist Church Building Fund.
