Rooney, Aleen Marie (Schroerlucke) View/Sign Guest Book ROONEY, ALEEN MARIE (SCHROERLUCKE), 93, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2008 at her home. She ran The Cradle Roll Department at Beechland Baptist Church where she'd been a member for many years. She was also a current member of Ridgewood Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Rooney Sr.; son, Patrick Michael Rooney; her parents, Rosa Katherine and Robert Frank Schroerlucke; and her stepmother, Bertha Dorothy Henn. She is survived by her son, James Robert Rooney Jr., (Gail); grandchildren, Dana Lynne Rooney, James Patrick Rooney (Erika) and Natalie Carol Clark (Terry); and great-grandchildren, Lynsey Nicole Rooney, James Michael Rooney, Blaine Patrick Rooney and James Corwin Clark. Her service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be Wednesday, 11a.m.-8 p.m. and Thursday after 9 a.m. until the service.
