BREITENBACH SR., CHARLES O., 86, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Signature Healthcare South.

He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, a World War II Navy veteran, an avid UK fan and horse racing enthusiast.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Breitenbach.

He is survived by his children, Charles Breitenbach Jr. (Marsha) and Patricia Mattingly; grandchildren, Amanda Mattingly, Nicole and Kyle Breitenbach; and sister, Jo Ann Adams.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff of Signature Healthcare South for their gentle care given to their father.

His funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at Joseph E. Ratterman & Son, 7336 Southside Dr. with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens-West. Visitation: 2-8 p.m. Monday In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mass of the Air.
