LIEBERT, DONALD J. SR., 70, passed away suddenly August 6, 2012 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
He was retired from Fetter Printing Company where he worked for 49 years as a supervisor in the bindery dept. He was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, former member of St. Polycarp Catholic Church, a former Army Reservist and belonged to several Square Dance Clubs including The Wranglers and The Spangles and Spurs.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Arie "Mae" (Dulworth) Liebert; two sons, Donald J. Liebert Jr (Michelle) and Gregory Liebert; five grandchildren, Tyler, Brittney, Travis, Trevor and Alex; three brothers, Norman, Roger and Larry Liebert; two, sisters Judy Liebert and Jean Coyler; aunt, Mary Liebert; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
His funeral Mass will be 9 a.m. Friday at his church, 5431 Johnsontown Road with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be Thursday 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy.
In lieu of flowers expressions may go to St. Jude Children's & Research Hospital or to St. Peter the Apostle Church building Fund.
