Fouts Sr., Harry Edward FOUTS, HARRY EDWARD SR., 80, of Portland, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at his home. He was a retired plumber and member of the Plumbers Union Local 107. He was a longtime member of Portland Avenue Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna. He is survived by a daughter, Sarah Jane Word (Ray); three sons, Michael E. (Wanda), David J. (Marsha) and Harry E. Fouts Jr.; his life companion, Geraldine "Gerri" Wade; brother, Curtis Fouts; five sisters, Grace Evelyn True, Betty Lou Temple, Margaret Fry, Joyce Schoch and Helen Franz; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at J.B. Ratterman & Sons, 2114 W. Market St., followed by burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may go to his church, 3200 Portland Ave., Louisville, KY 40212, or Hospice of Louisville Published in The Courier-Journal from 5/9/2007 - 5/10/2007.
