Harvey Colvin

Colvin, Harvey,73, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014 of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.He was born to the late Lewis E. and Lottie Rayhill Colvin in Coral Ridge, KY, and was retired from Philip Morris where he had over 30 years of service.Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Harvey L. Colvin.He is survived by his wife, Rita Sears-Colvin; a daughter and her children, Teresa Lynn Miller (Nathan), grandson, Chad Miller (Kim) and their daughter, Elle Miller; granddaughter, Tara Miller and her daughter Natalie; his daughter, Gina Marie Pleak (Jeff) and their sons, Jared Pleak and Jalen Pleak; stepson, Terry A. Sears (Kim); and his sons, Christopher Sears (Elizabeth) and Nicholas Sears; as well as two brothers and five sisters.His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road, where visitation will be 2 - 8 P.M. Tuesday, December 16, 2014. Burial will follow the service in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Association .
