DUVALL, HELEN BETH PENNELL, 92, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Summerfield Health & Rehab.

She retired from JCPS as administrative assistant and was a member of Hurstbourne Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, John Arch Pennell and Edward H. Duvall; and brother, Dr. H.C. Jackson Jr.

She is survived by her sons, Clifford R. (Gerry), Ronald R. (Brenda) and John P. (Debbie); grandchildren, Wendy (Ken), Stacey (Kevin), Jamie and Phillip; and 12 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held Wednesday at Hurstbourne Christian Church and donations to the church's Memorial Fund are requested in lieu of flowers.

Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
