James Cooksey

Cooksey, James Philip "J.P.",86, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday April 8, 2015. A native of Horse Branch, KY, he was retired from the Kroger Co.; a member of Mosaic United Methodist Church, and Masonic Lodge #863. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, the former Frances Willis; a daughter, Ruth Young; a foster sister, Freda Ford Powell; grandsons, Nicholas and Christopher. His funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with interment to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
