DUNCAN, JAMES CARL "J.C.," 71, of Louisville, lost his battle with cancer on Monday, August 27, 2012.
J.C. was retired from Phillip Morris after 30 years of service and was a leader of Boy Scout Troop #190 for 19 years and a leader for the Handicapped Scout Troop #208, and was an avid U of K fan.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Marcella Ruth Duncan; son, James Anthony "Tony" Duncan; grandson, Anthony Tyler McCoy; and parents, Henry E. and Hazel Wallace Duncan.
Survivors include his daughter, Tammy McCoy (Ernie) of Vine Grove, KY; grandsons, Curtis, Ethan, and Henry McCoy; son, Jamie Duncan; brother, William David Duncan; sisters, Becky Duncan, Ella Mae Bross and Millie Francis Nair, all of Louisville and Mary Helen Aubry of Hodgenville, KY; six nephews; five nieces; 24 great-nieces and nephews; and 16 great-great nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be noon Saturday at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Okolona. Burial: Louisville Memorial Garden West. Visitation: Friday 1-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
