James Roach "Sam" Share E-mail Visit Guest Book ROACH, JAMES "SAM," 62, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday November 4, 2009.
He was a member of Incarnation Catholic Church, retired after 20 years with Mothers Cookies and a Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his parents James D. and Mary Ann Roach; sisters, Donna Inman, Laura Bierbaum; and his beloved dog "Roscoe." He is survived by his nephews, Scott Gagel and Cody Bierman; niece, Danielle Overton; great-niece, Laura Olivia; and many cousins.
His funeral will be noon Saturday at Incarnation Catholic Church, 2229 Lower Hunters Trace. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday and after 10 a.m. Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. Entombment is in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
With his love and care of animals over the years, never wanting any animal to go cold or hungry, at his request, in lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Kentucky Humane Society.
