John R. McVay, 57, passed away at home on Wednesday November 25, 2015. John was born to James McVay and the late Jean Probus McVay in Louisville on October 29, 1958.
John was retired from the Jefferson County Board of Education and was Sergeant -at-Arms for KMA-KBA.
He leaves to cherish his memory his companion of 30 years, Debbie Coulter, daughter, Shannon Lush (Robert), sons; Thomas Coulter (Bridgette), Tony Kolle(Jennifer McAllister), and Danny Ton along with grandchildren and great-grandchildren and sisters, Esta McVay and Rose Brown (Steve) and a niece and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the funeral home.
